なにがってFall out boyの新譜、MANIAの一曲、Hold me tight or don'tが…
新譜の中でも一番すきなチューンであるのですが、初見でサビが『やだ…なんか西野カナっぽいこと云ってる…?(これを同い年のアラサー男子が歌ってると思うとなかなかエモい(ただしパトリックに限る)』って思ってたのですが歌詞見てみたら思った以上に西野カナでやばいなと
というか多分歌詞ってピートが作ってんですよね?　いままで大体がそうだったし
いや〜なんかやべぇな陽キャ装ってるピートの闇深そうだなってずっと思ってたけどこれはわたしもI'm pretty sure だわ
あとWilsonの歌詞もなかなかに陰キャ全開でSUKIです闇深いピートウェンツを愛せ

ちょこちょこ覗きに来ていただいてる方はおそらく洋楽クラスタと思われるので洋楽ネタで投下すべく久々に意訳してみました　そしたら余計にカナやん曲への確信を深めた
わざと口調とかカナやんぽくしました　間違いあったらやさしくおしえてくださ〜い
意訳にしたので原詞の前後関係とか変えたりしてます

意訳は追記で、ここには原詞を載せます
萌えたとこもついでにここで語っとく

とりあえず「きみ」に対しての思いがハチャメチャ深すぎるしそれまでがクールキャラで通してたってのがアカン
クール属性のヤンデレとかもうツボすぎてアカン(アカン)
そして「きみ」に対してだけ超デレてない?だって「だきしめたい」じゃなくて「だきしめてほしい」だよ?
ここらへんにカナやんかよって思った
あと「Oh no no no no, this isn't how our story ends」ってとこも女子大生(スイーツ)かよって(偏見が過ぎる)
スイーツなパトリックとか愛すしかないだろ　オォン!?
きつくだきしめるどころか骨折るまでだきしめるわそんなん…
でも4/28にゼッブでFOB見てきて(もちろんこの曲もやりました最高が過ぎていた)「Hold me tight or don't」を冷静に考えると(いや物理的に無理なのかもしれない…)と思えてきた主に胴回り的な問題で　YASETE
この曲は恋人に昇格せずに友達キープしてくる「きみ」の不実を詰ってる(と思われる)点があるけど、「ぼく」の闇が深すぎるのでこれ「きみ」はほんとにその気がなくてガチのワンダイレクションなのでは・・?と思えるのがこの歌詞の面白いところですね
夢と現実と妄想(理想というにはやや禍々しい)を微妙にリンクづけた単語の選び方のセンスがすごい
こういうところが英詩の面白いところだと思うし、こういう遊びができるプロがすごい　このアルパムは片思いというか『報われない思い』とかが多いしあとは冷たさ(「freeze」とか「cold」)を感じさせる単語が多くみられる気がしてそういったものとEDM調な無機質なサウンドが合わさって味わい深いです(T-8はどうした?ってくらい感じ変わるけど)
あとこの曲はDメロのパトの声の伸びが最高オブ最高

絵とか描いてほしいとかなんかあったら一言にお願いします
ケツ叩かれないと最近絵が描けない

アルバムを買ったのはかなり前になりますが、まるちぷらい、『×』からRunawayという曲が最近のお気に入りでして。
最初は「おお、こじゃれた音の曲だな〜」ということでしか頭になかったんですが何度も聴き流してるうちにサビで『なんとかかんとか骨がすき〜♪』みたいなことを言ってることに気付いて「いま『骨がどう』とか歌ってたよな？骨・・・?あと皮膚がどうとか・・・。エロいのか？まさかのグロイのか？どんな歌詞なんだ・・・」となってちょっと調べてみたらこんな歌詞でした

いままでこれぞリア充！って曲ばっか書いてるティーンポップ向けシンガーだと思ってたんですっごく意外！！でした
認識を改めます、すみません
こんな曲も書いてたんですね〜まぁでもI see Fireみたいなトールキン世界のエッセンスを凝縮した曲も書いてるし(この曲でエド好きになりました)当たり前と言えば当たり前だったのか
自分は娘だし父とは仲悪いですが(というかほぼ絶縁してる)こういう愛ある別離ではないので心情を完璧に理解することは適いませんが、それでもこの曲を聴いて歌詞を見てみると胸の切なさを感じます
それとともに、状況がいいわるいに関せず親離れしたときが『個人』の完成なんだなあと思わずにはいられません
アイデンティティの確立は世界共通のテーマですね
しかしこんな父と子の愛憎の別離を描いたホームドラマな歌詞をオサレな音で一曲にしてしまうのが洋楽の面白いところです
現在の邦楽でこんなのがあるかと言えばまずないと思いますからね

追記で先の英文ととともに自分の意訳を載せています
重複箇所は訳してません
完全に自分の英語力と文章読解力に任せた想像にあふれたものになってますので批判はお手柔らかに
大体のところはライターが言いたいことであろう話に沿って訳したのですが毎回関係詞が示したい箇所を探すのに髪をかきむしりたくなるほど苦労します
that/this/it,etc...はどこにかかってるんだ・・・っていうあれです
なので最近は歌詞のストーリーから無理のないように考えるとこうかな？っていう考え方で進めるようになりました
この曲も早くどこかの英語力に長けた優秀な誰かさんが訳してくれないかな・・・そうしたら赤面しながら間違いを探すのに・・・
しかし一番のrunaway with youって誰を指してるんでしょうか
この『you』はここにしか出てこないんですよね
だからなんか余計に意味深に思えてしまうのは齢のせいでしょうか(笑)
案外懐いてた猫かもしれません、いや、猫飼ってたかなんて知らないけど彼のMVには猫が頻発してる気がするので

前から超地味に応援してたSiaの新しいアルバムがビルボードアルバムチャートとiTunesのチャートで一位！！！
よっしゃよっしゃ！
といってもすこし前…先々週がそうだったって聞いてるけど今も一位なのかは知らない(笑)


このシンガー、Siaさんは上記のアルバムの収録曲でもあるChandelier(PV)のPVをYouTubeで偶然見つけて、その衝撃的なビデオで即座ハマりました
この曲中で踊るダンサー、マギー・ツェルガー(って読むのかな…)は11歳だとか…こうも自在に体を動かせるまでどれほどの時間を使ってきたのか…(そしてこの子のダンスを見てると普段の自分がどれだけ狭い範囲でしか体を使っていないかってことをほとほと自覚する…悪いことじゃないけど、自分の体の可能性を狭めてるのはすごく勿体ない…ただでさえ細胞は日ごと衰えていくのに)動きもそうですが、なによりも特筆すべきなのはその表現力！
努力もあるのは当たり前ですが、やはりこういう見えないものを見せるお仕事で見ている者の心を鷲掴みにするには天性のものがないと駄目なんだなぁ、と感じました
成長期でバランスの軸が狂ってもどうにか掴み直して躍り続けられる一人になるといいな…若き天才のダンサーにはそういう問題があるからね…浅田真央ちゃんとか…

さてさて、本題のシンガーSiaさんですが、
最近のビルボードではフィーチャリングシンガーとしてゲッタさんのタイタニウム(チタニウム？)などで聴いたことがあるかも！ってひとです
でもただのシンガーではなく、ソングライターとしても実力は織り込み済みです
なんとリアーナのdiamondも担当してました
すげー！ちょっとアンニュイでサビでぐぐぐっと盛り上がる感じは今回の曲にも通じるところ
そんな彼女、リアーナより歳上ですが声はちょっとリリちゃんに似てます
すこしスモーキーで高音がやや硬質に感じられる声って表現すればいいのかな
まぁとりあえず聴いてみてください

このPV、ほんとダンスで魅了されるんだけど、それも曲があっての話

最近はまっているのがKe＄haのDie Young。
ケシャ(正確にはキャシャらしいですね)ってすきじゃないんだけど、才能あるなーって思う。ダンスチューンの曲作りがうまい。ブリちゃんに提供した曲もよかったしな〜。ガガちゃんの提供曲も聴いたけど売れ線ってとこでは完全にケシャの勝利だった。
キャラが微妙に被ってるので比べられるふたりだけどわたしはガガちゃん派なのです…だってケシャって品がないんだもん…(´Д｀;)出てきたときは大阪のおばちゃんみたいな格好してたし
でも才能は本物(プロデューサーの腕がいいだけかもしれないけどそもそも本人に売れそうなモノがなければそういったバックアップもつかない)だと思う…曲はいい…そこがなんか悔しい(笑)
うううううっ、はまっちゃったじゃないか〜！
とギリギリしながら聴きまくっているwwww
Die Youngは直訳すれば｢若死に｣だけど、歌詞を見るとちょっと違う感じで、若死にするって『死』に焦点を当ててるんじゃなくて片思い、というか失恋ソングなんだよね。だからあくまで歌われてるのは『恋』。そこがかわいいなって思ってはまりました。ノリノリのダンスチューンなのに歌詞はほんのりせつない。そのギャップがとてもかわいらしい。ケシャ風にいうなら｢超ミニを履いた黒ギャルの服脱がせたらパステルブルーの清楚な下着が出てきた｣みたいなそんなギャップ萌え(あれ、この例え間違えた？)
